EHAS has had a busy 2024, full of activity and fun for our children. Sharron has led 3 holiday camps at the Primary School with activities such as the climbing wall, music with African drumming, gymnastics, baking, cricket, arts and crafts, circus skills and many more.

We have also funded pantomime, cinema and bowling trips for local families as well as outings to Godstone Farm and Clip ‘n Climb. In addition, we paid for the school residential trip for those children in year 6 who would otherwise have been unable to attend. This tripis crucial for developing independence and confidence before they transition to secondary school.

A huge thanks to Sharron for her unfailing energy and enthusiasm inmanaging all of this and thanks to Edenbridge Primary School for their valuable support.

Sadly we said goodbye to our previous Chairman and long-term trustee Giny Best who resigned in October. We wish Giny all the best and a huge amount of gratitude, the charity would not be what it is today without Giny’s hard work and dedication. The same goes for trustees Sheila Henderson, Peter Symes and Honorary Secretary Margaret Sim who resigned in May. Again, huge thanks
for their service and support over the many years they have been involved with EHAS.

In the new team, Deborah takes over as Chairman and Chloë as Treasurer. Serena continues in her role supporting Sharron and we say hello and welcome to FionaMackenzie who joined the trustees as Honorary Secretary in October. Although the trustee board has changed over 2024, the aim of working hard for the children of Edenbridge is unchanged and we are looking forward to 2025.

Finally a huge thank you to our supporters and donors who have enabled us to support over 10,000 children in the past 52 years.

Chloë Way, Deborah Seth, Fiona Mackenzie & Serena Barker
